1What is it?
Your equipment is automatically scanned for the largest group of pieces sharing the exact same refine level. Match 3 or more, and you get a stat bonus. Push that same group to +8 or higher, and you unlock a second, stronger bonus.
Nothing to activate — the system checks your current equipment every time your stats recalculate.
It finds whichever refine level you have the most matching pieces at. Ties favor the higher refine.
3+ matching pieces at any refine level grants flat HP/SP, Hit, ATK and MATK.
If that same matching group is +8 or higher, you also get a second, scaling bonus.
2Which slots count
10 equipment slots are checked. A two-handed weapon occupying both hand slots only counts once, not twice.
| Weapon (both hands) | Armor |
| Garment | Shoes |
| Headgear (Top / Mid / Low) | Accessories (both slots) |
3Part 1 — Base Set Bonus
Works at any refine level, as soon as 3 or more equipped pieces share it.
| Matching pieces | Max HP / SP | Hit | Base ATK | MATK |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3 | +1% | +5 | +5 | +5 |
| 4 | +3% | +15 | +15 | +15 |
| 5 or more | +5% | +25 | +25 | +25 |
4Part 2 — Additional Refinement Level
A second bonus layered on top of Part 1, unlocked only when the matching group itself is refined high enough.
| Matching pieces | Effect type |
|---|---|
| 3 | Magic Critical Damage |
| 4 | Damage to All Races |
| 5 or more | Damage to All Elements |
The bonus percentage scales with the group's actual refine level, regardless of piece count:
5Worked example
You have 4 pieces equipped at +9, plus a few others at scattered refine levels.
6Where to check
7Good to know
| Tie-breaking | If two refine levels have the same piece count, the higher refine level wins. |
| Two-handed weapons | Counted once, not twice, even though they occupy both hand slots. |
| Recalculation | Fully automatic — swap gear and your bonus updates immediately, no re-equip trick needed. |
| Effect uptime | Always on — no activation needed |
